5 big names in club football who will be out of contract in summer 2019

  1. Jan Vertonghen:

The Belgian defender has been arguably one of the finest defenders in the Premier League in recent times. Vertonghen had a very good time at the 2018 World Cup and it is surprising to know that the former Ajax man has still not renewed his contract at Spurs. With his contract ending, there will be a number of Premier league clubs lurking for his signature and possibly Paris Saint Germain might also make a move for him.

  1. Adrien Rabiot:

The Frenchman was reportedly a target for Barcelona this summer but somehow a move didn’t materialize and Rabiot is still at Paris Saint Germain. The tall left-footed midfielder is a very good prospect for the future and investing him will surely pay off and given that he might be available for free next season, it makes it even better for the clubs in for his signature. Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have their eyes set on Rabiot if PSG fail to convince the midfielder to sign a new deal.

  1. Anthony Martial :

Martial gained a lot of attention in his early days at Manchester United under Louis Van Gaal courtesy some solid performances in the attack. But it hasn’t all gone well for him and the Frenchman has struggled to make it work under Jose Mourinho and apparently his relationship with the Portuguese manager hasn’t been the finest. His contract ends at the end of this season as United would like to soon act on it and get the former Monaco man sign a new contract.

  1. Toby Alderweireld:

Another Spurs defender on this list is Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian was very strongly linked to a move to Manchester United this summer but it seems that the interest from United faded away with time in spite of the fact that the Red Devils definitely needed a player like him. Toby’s contract ends this season and if United can struck a deal with Spurs at an early stage helping the London club earn something out of it, they might as well secure a signing this time around.

  1. David De Gea :

David De Gea is arguably the best goalkeeper in the Premier League, if not in the world. His performances for Manchester United have been outstanding as the Spaniard has been there for the club’s rescue on the pitch more than often. It is rumored that the Spaniard is in talks for a new deal with the Red Devils which should make him the highest paid goalkeeper in the world. If it is to be true, it will definitely feel like a new signing for the United fans.
