FIFA Order South Africa & Senegal Replay After Ref’s Lifetime Ban

The Bureau for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers has ordered a replay of the qualification match between South Africa and Senegal which took place on the 12th November 2016, following match referee Joseph Lamptey’s lifetime ban. Ghanaian ref Lamptey has been banned for awarding a penalty to South Africa for a non existent hand ball inside the 18-yard box, to unlawfully influence the match result.
