Footballers who are destined to retire at their present clubs

  1. Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund):

Reus was once considered a big sensation in the football world and had it not been with plenty of injuries, the German would have surely fulfilled his potential to its truest level. Nevertheless the Dortmund winger is still a fine player and in spite of time and again linked with a number of clubs he has stuck around with the German club and it is very likely that he might as well end his career at Dortmund, showing his loyalty and passion for the club.

  1. David Silva (Manchester City):

David Silva was part of the revolution that took place at Manchester City after the takeover by the Abu Dhabi group. Silva has seen a lot of players come and go at City but he has stayed with the Blues, winning plenty of success in England. The Spaniard is one of the finest playmaker in the Premier league right now and it is truly a blessing to watch him play. At the age of 32, it seems difficult that he would want to move elsewhere before hanging up his boots.

  1. Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid):

The transformation from a right back to one of the best center-backs in the world took place for Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid. He has seen a lot of ups and downs with the Los Blancos but it is safe to say it has been all worth it given the success he has achieved with the Spanish club. He has won 19 trophies in his 14 seasons at the club and is considered one of their best captains ever. The 32-year old Spaniard is surely not moving anywhere before retirement.

  1. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur):

The English striker has been a phenomenal player in the Premier league from the past few years. His consistent and prolific goal scoring abilities have arguably made him one of the finest strikers in the world right now. Although Kane has not won any significant amount of trophies with Spurs till date, it is going to difficult to convince him to move away given the transfer fee that will be involved and it is likely that Kane would rather try to win a trophy with Spurs than move away.

  1. Lionel Messi (Barcelona):

Coming from La Masia, saying that Messi has been a blessing to the football world and Barcelona is an understatement. The Argentine has simply been outstanding on the pitch with his crazy dribbling skills and goal scoring abilities. He has more than often single handedly helped Barcelona win matches and titles and with his contract not ending before 2022, it is highly unlikely that Messi would think about moving away from the Catalan club.
