Virgil Van Dijk - Southampton

With Southampton currently on a run of six consecutive clean sheets, defensive stalwart Virgil Van Dijk is a must-have this weekend, with his side hosting Burnley at St Mary’s. The Clarets have failed to score away from home all season and are the joint-lowest scorers in the league, while Saints’ recent record indicates yet another shutout. Also a threat from set pieces, Van Dijk is a player with a real high scoring potential this weekend.

Daniel Sturridge - Liverpool

Injuries to Adam Lallana and Gini Wijnaldum has opened the door for Daniel Sturridge to start against Manchester United on Monday night. The forward has an excellent record against United at Anfield, scoring in all three of his appearances against the club at Anfield since 2013, including a penalty in last season’s 2-0 win in the Europa League. The 27-year-old seems to have a touch against United and will hope to extend his prolific record against them in this a real high scoring potential this weekend.
